Religious titles offered to title recipient Sayadaws and nuns for 2023 in regions, states

Ceremonies to offer religious titles for 2023 was held in conjunction with the rice offering ceremony at respective places in Nay Pyi Taw, regions and states yesterday, attended by State Administration Council members, Union ministers, Nay Pyi Taw Council chairman, chief ministers of regions and states, officials and well-wishers.
Firstly, SAC members, Union ministers and chairman of Nay pyi Taw Council, chief ministers of regions and states and officials offered the day meal to the Sayadaws, members of Sangha and nuns, and they took the Five Precepts from the Sayadaws. Next, Sayadaws delivered Sammo Daniya Ovada Katha whereas officials concerned who are now in various regions and states supplicated religious affairs. And then, title conferee Sayadaws, members of Sangha, nuns and persons were offered the religious titles. Sayadaws from regions and states delivered a sermon, followed by sharing of merits gained.
Afterwards, the Buddhist monks and the nuns were offered the dry rations by the SAC members, Union ministers, the chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, Chief ministers, the military command commanders and departmental officials and well-wishers. — MNA/KZL
