Temporary power cut in 3 townships in Yangon

Yangon Electricity Support Corporation has announced that it will be removing old pylons and relocating the 11 kV power line on 26 February and so there will be temporary power outages in three townships.
Yangon City Development Committee is expanding power lines at the junction of Kyansittha and Minyekyawswa roads in Dagon Myothit (East) Township. Therefore, YESC will have to remove old pylons and relocate the 11 kV power line from 11 am to 3 pm on 26 February, and there will be power outages in some parts of Dagon Myothit (East), Dagon Myothit (North) and Shwepaukkan townships.
However, arrangements are being made to ensure that there are no power outages in important areas, it is learnt. — TWA/KZW
