Gold robes will be offered to Mahavijaya Pagoda’s 24 satellite pagodas and all-round comprehensive renovation work done before the start of April, according to the board of trustees of the pagoda.
Changing water from the lake of the pagoda and planting trees and flowers will be carried out with the support of the Yangon City Development Committee to make the temple premises green and pleasant.
In the last 2021-2022 financial year, the main pagoda was offered gold robes at a cost of over K800 million. —TWA/KZW
