70 Myanmar migrant workers leave for Thailand under MoU

A total of 70 Myanmar migrant workers left for Thailand under the memorandum of understanding through the Kawthoung border.
Htoo Thit Zae Co Ltd, an overseas employment agency (Thailand) sent 55 men and 15 women to work in Thailand at Husker (Thailand) Co Ltd under 2-year contract on 3 December. They were sent to Kawthoung from Yangon airport by the overseas employment agency (Thailand) and to Thailand by boat via Kawthoung border.
Kawthoung District Labour Department, Immigration and Population Department, Anti-human trafficking task force and relevant organizations made necessary inspections for workers whereas officials from the employment agency systematically transported those workers to the host company of Thailand. —Kyaw Soe (Kawthoung)/KZW
