Futsal League qualifiers conclude

Qualifiers for the teams to compete in the 2022-2023 season Futsal League-1 and Futsal League-2 were held from 17 to 23 October. Starting next season, the Myanmar Football Federation will divide the futsal league into two classes. The Futsal League-1 tournament will be held with 12 teams while the Futsal League-2 tournament with 10 teams. Only seven teams are allowed to compete in the Futsal League-1 tournament, and qualifiers were conducted for the remaining five places for the league-1 and 10 teams for the Futsal League-2 tournament. The Futsal League-1 qualifier was held with 10 teams and divided into two groups of five teams.
In group A, Future of Dagon team stands first in group (A) with 12 points and Futsal 19 FC second with nine points. In group B, AKG team stands first in the group with 10 points and Futsal Lovers second with eight points and they were directly qualified for the qualifiers.
According to the qualifying fixtures, the top two teams with the most points from the two groups will qualify directly, and the two third-placed teams will play a play-off again. In the play-off match, the Generations defeated the Tawwin Nann 8-6 and entered the Futsal League-1. In the Futsal League-2 qualifiers, seven teams competed and were divided into two groups.
After the group matches, in group A, Yoma team stands first in the group with nine points and Red Eagles FC second with six points. In group B, NY stands first in the group with six points and Maryar with three points and qualified.
After qualifying of the 2022-2023 Futsal League-1 tournament, the VUC team, including the defending champion MIU, MFF U-18, Myoma, AMM, Winner and Dream Team were allowed to compete directly. Qualifying teams such as the Future of Dagon, Futsal 19 FC, AKG, Futsal Lovers and Generations will be held with a total of 12 teams.
