MoI Deputy Minister inspects IPRD offices, schools in townships

Deputy Minister U Ye Tint of the Ministry of Information inspected the Information and Public Relations Department offices in Taungdwingyi and Natmauk townships on 6 September and met the employees.
The deputy minister, accompanied by the IPRD director and the education officer of Magway Region, inspected the Natmauk community centre and viewed the exhibition. He also observed the essay competition held by teachers and students to commemorate Anti-Trafficking Day.
Afterwards, the deputy minister encouraged students who were taking the computer training course in the computer room and those who come to read and study in the children’s reading room and the library.
Next, the deputy minister met the headmistress, teachers and students of the Aunglan Basic Education High School No 1 and discussed educational matters. It was participated by the Aunglan district administrator, district-level officials and the education officer of Aunglan Township.
Similarly, he visited the Natmauk Basic Education High School No 1 together with Regional Education Officer U Thet Lay Oo, IPRD Director U Myo Zaw, officials, the headmaster, teachers and students and called for the improvement of the education of students.
The deputy minister handed over books and journals donated by the Ministry of Information for school libraries and sports equipment for football, volleyball, Sepak Takraw, Chinlone (cane ball) and badminton sports at the No 1 Basic Education High Schools of Aunglan and Natmauk Townships.
MoI Deputy Minister U Ye Tint urged all students and teachers to accumulate their knowledge and skills as they are the future of the State. Teachers, parents and those who have responsibility need to assure all students are educated under the guidance of the Head of State: up to KG+9 and they need to do their best in the education sector for the benefit of the State. — Township IPRD/GNLM
