Over 10 million stimulant pills seized on YGN-MDY Expressway

Over 10 million of stimulant pills worth K15 billion were seized on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway, according to the Myanmar Police Force.
Anti-drug police force stopped and searched a Prado vehicle driven by Zarni Tun from Mandalay to Yangon and another Prado car driven by Moe Hein and accompanied by Nyein Chan Thu (alias) Kyan Kyaung near the mile post 284/5 on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway, Meiktila Township, Mandalay Region at 1 pm on 13 April.
According to the investigation, 10 million ecstasy pills worth K15 billion were confiscated from two vehicles as the drugs were transported from Mandalay Region to Yangon Region.
They are prosecuted and perpetrators are still under investigation, according to the Police Force. —MNA
