Now is time to make preparations to launch the farming works to be ready when the monsoon falls in our land Myanmar within a few days.
They thoroughly know their works. They know when they should start harrowing their farmlands, when they should irrigate their farmlands, when they should broadcast seeds, when they should transplant saplings in their farms, how to nurture the saplings and when they should harvest the crops.
Indeed, the farmers are grateful to all. They produce crops with the aim of ensuring food for all. They invest their strengths, sweat, souls and time in the cultivation of crops. So, we should assess thing whether they get benefits from their farms.
Now is the summer. But, the summer is getting older and older. The end of summer is the start of the monsoon. The farmers need raindrops to be used in their paddy and crop fields. To be able to shape their farmlands as they like, agricultural aid and necessary inputs, including irrigation facilities and raindrops, should be kept in the hands of the farmers.
Only when the farmers possess the mental and physical powers to shape their farmlands so as to have a high yield for various kinds of crops will the whole country have food sufficiency.
Everybody needs to try to understand the agricultural works, including paddy cultivation, to some degree. They have to practise the cultivation of vegetable plants on their own lands. Actually, we all have an obligation to green the planet.
As such, it is necessary to encourage the farmers for making preparatory tasks for agricultural tasks. After taking a short break, those farmers have possessed new strengths to start their works. If they get things they need, they can do all-year-round agricultural tasks without taking a break in two other seasons — namely the cold season and the summer. In fact, they have non-stop work processes in their fields. If their work process stops, it is uncertain for food sufficiency.

Hence, we all should participate in cultivation starting from the forthcoming monsoon. Let’s begin the works without delay!
