The 59th Myanmar Gems Emporium concluded successfully yesterday at the Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw.
A total of 800 jade lots were offered for sale through open tender on the final day, with 758 of them being sold. Throughout the ten days of the emporium, from 3 to 12 May, a total of 379 pearl lots, 88 gem lots, and 3,251 jade lots were sold.
The central committee organized the emporium with the objectives of generating foreign revenue, supporting foreign businesses, and providing raw materials for micro, small, and medium enterprises engaged in manufacturing jade products in Sagaing and Mandalay. — MNA/NT
