58th Myanma Gems Emporium continues for fifth day

The fifth day of the 58th Myanma Gems Emporium continued yesterday at Maniradana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw. Foreign and local jewellers observed pearl, gem and jade lots on display at the event.
The tender proposals for jade lots No 1 to 750 were opened, and officials announced a total of 576 lots were auctioned. International and domestic gem merchants evaluated jade lots No 751 to 1,500 for sale at the emporium and placed bids inside the tender boxes. Tender boxes would be opened on the sixth day and jade lots that were sold would be announced.
So far, 290 of 295 pearl lots were sold to local and foreign gem traders. Moreover, 120 gem lots were sold on 20 March. Therefore, 77 lots of gems were sold. — MNA/KZW
