500 books donated to MoI offices, libraries

Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn speaks on the book donation occassion yesterday.

A ceremony to donate books written by Dr Aung Gyi to offices and libraries of the Ministry of Information was held yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.
Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Aung Gyi, Permanent Secretary U Myo Myint Maung and officials were present on the occasion.
First, a total of 500 books: 250 books of “Yin Hte Ka A Pe” (The Father Who Is in My Heart) and 250 books of “Sitemwe Se” (Agricultural Dam) written by Deputy Minister Dr Aung Gyi of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation was donated to Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn who then returned a certificate of honour to the deputy minister.
Deputy Minister Dr Aung Gyi explained the purpose of book donations and Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn gave words of thanks before concluding the event. — MNA/TS
