4th BIMSTEC National Security Chiefs’ Meeting to be launched

The coordination meeting for holding the fourth BIMSTEC National Security Chiefs’ Meeting in progress yesterday.

A coordination meeting was held yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw to hold the fourth BIMSTEC National Security Chiefs’ Meeting.
Officials discussed issues related to the setting of agendas and preliminary discussions for the meetings’ reports, as well as issues related to the fight against regional terrorism and transnational crime and the promotion of the fight against drug trafficking. The director-general and officials of the State Administration Council office, high-ranking officials from BIMSTEC member countries, and the secretariat were present at the cording meeting, and the Fourth BIMSTEC National Security Chiefs’ Meeting will continue. — MNA/KZL
