44 Myanmar nationals return through Myanmar-Thai Friendship Bridge (2)

A total of 44 Myanmar migrant workers returned from Thailand through the Myawady Friendship Bridge (2) on 10 May, according to local authorities.
Kayin State Hluttaw Representative U Thant Zin Aung, the district administrator, township administrator, district police force and respective officials have arranged diagnostic processes for the Myanmar migrant workers.
Since opening the bridge for Myanmar migrant workers to return from Thailand, 60 Myanmar workers returned on 1 May, 54 on 2 May, one on 3 May, 44 on 4 May, 23 on 5 May, 100 on 8 May and 44 yesterday, adding up to 326 returnees.
There were no returnees on 6, 7 and 9 May.
Out of the 44 migrant workers who arrived yesterday, one is from Kayah State, another one from Kayin State, two from Mon State, another one from Sagaing Region, 17 people from Bago Region, nine from Magway Region, three from Mandalay Region, five from Yangon Region and another five from Ayeyawady Region, according to an official report. —Htein Lin Aung (IPRD)(Translated by Kyaw Zin Lin)
