26 receptionists selected for 2023 Myanmar Academy Awards event

Twenty-six receptionists have been chosen for the 2023 Myanmar Academy Awards event, as announced by U Aye Kyu Lay, the Vice-Chairman of the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization.
The application period for receptionists for the Myanmar Academy Awards event 2023 ran from 1 to 15 December. The preliminary selection took place on 17 December, where 97 candidates were chosen from a pool of 300 applicants. On 24 December, 56 receptionists were selected from the second stage of the preliminary pool of 97 candidates, and the finalists were officially announced on 28 December.
“We conducted the preliminary selection, choosing 97 candidates from 300 on 17 December. On 24 December, we selected 56 receptionists from the second stage of the preliminary pool of 97 candidates, and we chose the finalists on 28 December. Among the finalists, a total of 26 were selected, comprising 13 males and 13 females,” said U Aye Kyu Lay.
The judging panel for the selection included experienced senior actors and actresses such as Academy Yan Aung, Academy Ye Aung, Academy Khant Si Thu, Academy Aung Khine, Academy May Than Nu, and Academy Soe Myat Thuzar.
Notable actresses already known to the audience, such as Myo Ma Ma (Kyaw Kyaw Eaindra), Eaindra Moe Myint, and Cho Madi Thwin, are included among the finalists for the receptionists. — ASH/TKO
