24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition (Central Level) continues

The 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition (Central Level) continued for the fourth day at designated venues in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The contestants from various regions and states participated in the “Maha Gita” singing competition, “modern song” competition, dance competition, song-composing competition, adding lyrics to melody of composing competition, mandolin competition, violin competition, oboe competition, Myanmar orchestra solo competition, marionette troupe competition, and Mahawthahta drama competition which took place at designated venues yesterday.
State Administration Council members, the chairman of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, Union-level officials, deputy ministers, ministers for Ethnic Affairs and Ministers for Social Affairs of regions and states, advocates-general, relevant officials, departmental staff and parents of contestants attended the competitions.
The singing competition includes songs promoting national prestige, and integrity in Maha Gita, classical and modern song competitions for amateur level second class and higher education level. The dancing competition includes amateur level (female second class) and basic education level (male aged 10 to 15). — MNA/KZW
