23rd Convocation of Defence Services Technological Academy held

the 23rd convocation ceremony of Defence Services Technological Academy was held at its Convocation Hall in PyinOoLwin Station yesterday afternoon.
Acting Rector Lt-Col. Myint Win and academic members from the academy attended the ceremony.
First, the acting rector and members of the dean of faculties entered the Convocation Hall and took their seats.
The National Anthem was played and the convocation ceremony was opened.
Then, the acting rector announced the convocation ceremony and urged the graduates to adhere to the code of conduct for them.
Next, he presented certificates to 24 graduates of Master of Engineering, 75 graduates of Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering and 177 graduates of Engineering. He then allowed the graduates to wear the uniforms corresponding to the degrees and signed the Convocation Record Book.
Afterwards, the acting rector delivered a convocation speech. Concluding the ceremony, the acting rector and members of the dean of faculties left the Convocation Hall.
Two honorary doctorates in engineering, 103 PhDs in Engineering, 509 Master of Engineering graduates, five graduates of Master of Philosophy Engineering, 304 postgraduate diplomas in engineering and 94 graduates in diploma in academic engineering and 7,378 engineering graduates were conferred on degrees. — MNA
