23rd Arts & Science Research Conference continues in Nay Pyi Taw

The Ministry of Education hosted the 23rd Arts and Science Research Conference at Naypyitaw State Academy from 25 to 27 January.
Experts presented their arts and science papers, and the Academy displayed research posters and exhibitions.
Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe, Deputy Minister Dr Zaw Myint, Permanent Secretary Dr Soe Win, directors-general, rectors, teachers and students attended the paper reading sessions.
Moreover, Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Tin Htut and officials explored the exhibitions, and relevant officials explained the displays.
Similarly, a delegation team from the Russian Federation led by Dr Alexander Sergeevich Anokhin, advisor for science and technology at the Baykov Metallurgy and Materials Institute at the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Pro-Rector of Kurgan State University, and Dr Artyom Vladimirovich Sharov, Pro-Rector (science and technological affairs) of Kurgan State University also visited the event.
They visited Myanmar to collaborate and promote the country’s science and technology sector. The deputy minister greeted them warmly, and relevant officials explained the exhibitions.
Researchers from six ministries working on their doctoral papers at the Ministry of Education and universities read eight papers each in Myanmar literature, chemistry, physics, zoology, botany, educational psychology, curriculum and teaching techniques, law, commerce, and geography.
In the afternoon, relevant researchers presented three papers in Myanmar literature, five in English, nine in Chemistry, nine in Physics, eight in Zoology, eight in Botany, eight in educational psychology, nine in educational ideology and educational management, four in Law, four in Psychology, six in management, two in applied economy, two in Geography, and six in History.
A total of 163 papers were shared at the conference with rectors, pro-rectors, principals, faculty members and students.
Additionally, rectors and principals visited the 25th-anniversary ceremony of the Myanmar Computer Federation and computer associations at the Nay Pyi Taw International Convention Centre-2 and toured the exhibitions and lectures. — MNA/NT
