The 2023 Mid-Year Gems Emporium continued at the Maniradana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
During the exhibition. a total of 792 jade lots from Group-C were sold to local gem merchants in Myanmar Kyats under the open tender system to improve MSME industries and the officials announced that 779 jade lots were sold.
A total of 300 pearl lots out of 300 pearl lots and 73 gem lots out of 160 gem lots were sold successfully to local and foreign gem merchants by exceeding the price.
In addition, 3,704 jade lots were sold out while 520 jade lots from Group-A, 1,733 jade lots from Group-B and 1,792 jade lots from Group-C were on sale at the 2023 Mid-Year Gems Emporium to local and foreign gem merchants under the open tender system.
The 2023 Mid-Year Myanmar Gems Emporium was successfully organized by the Myanmar Gems Emporium Central Committee from 20 to 28 October at Maniyadana Jade Hall, aiming to not only generate foreign income and economic benefits for the country but also to improve the MSME industries. — MNA/MKKS
