15th batch of volunteer military corps depart to exchange duty at COVID-19 centre (Phaunggi)

The 15th batch of volunteer Tatmadaw medical team is leaving for Phaunggi for exchange of duty.

The 15th batch of volunteer Tatmadaw medical team assigned to support the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment activities went to perform their duty in the COVID-19 Centre (Phaunggi) in Hlegu Township yesterday morning from the Defence Services Medical Academy.
The medical team included 5 Anesthesiologists, 1 Pathologist, 1 Surgeon, 2 Radiologists, 3 Medics, and 26 nurses, will exchange the 14th batch of the Tatmadaw medical team of 40 medical specialists, medics and nurses at the Phaungyi COVID-19 centre.
Before their departure, Commander of the Yangon Region Military Headquarters General Nyunt Win Swe addressed the medical team’s meeting and donated foods.
The Tatmadaw medical team consisted of medics, medical specialists, and nurses supporting medical treatments to accelerate the COVID-19 prevention, control, and treatment activities in Phaungyi COVID-19 Centre.—MNA
