1,500 beds being prepared for COVID-19 patients at Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw

Preparations are underway for Covid-positive patients at Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw.

A total of 1,500 beds are under preparation for COVID-19 confirmed patients in Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw, according to Dr Thiri Nwe, Deputy Director-General of the Public Health Department, Nay Pyi Taw.
As the number of daily patients had reportedly been increased from 200 to more than 300, the Mani Yadanar Jade Hall was planned to open a COVID-19 centre with the approval of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation.
With necessary medical equipment and medicines supported by the Ministry of Health and Sports at the Jade Hall, 24 military doctors and nurses led by Tatmadaw medical specialists will provide medical care to COVID-19 patients in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory. — Than Min Aung (MNA)/GNLM
