A total of 15 Indian nationals duped by fake job offers from crime syndicates in Myanmar were repatriated, according to the India Embassy in Yangon, Myanmar.
The Embassy to Myanmar stated that these Indian nationals who were victims of job offers from transnational crime syndicates in Myanmar have left Yangon for Delhi by flight and they have to go to their respective native places in India.
A total of 379 Indian nationals have been rescued and another nine Indian nationals in February and eight in March have been repatriated, the Indian Embassy to Myanmar stated. — TWA/MKKS
