An early-monsoon market festival will be held from 17 to 19 May at the Secretariat Yangon, formerly the ministers’ office, in Botahtaung Township, Yangon Region, according to Dora Entertainment, an organizer of the event.
The festival to be held in the Secretariat Yangon Heritage Market Hall will feature more than 100 stalls.
“This place is easy to navigate, spacious, and has a large parking area, as well as being beautiful; therefore, it hosts a seasonal market fair every year. Additionally, from 17 to 19 May, the early-monsoon market festival is planned to be hosted. Interested entrepreneurs are invited. The number of designated shops and stalls is about 150. Since there is enough time before the festival, the number of shops, stalls, and items to be sold may change,” an organizer from Dora Entertainment said.
The Baby Talent Show will be included as an entertainment programme for festival attendees at the early-monsoon market fair, along with music performances by famous artistes. — ASH/TKO
