Myanmar engages in talks with OACPS for potential collaborations

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reported that Myanmar has held discussions with the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) regarding potential collaborations.
The meeting took place in Brussels on 3 May, attended by Mr Long Trang, Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Secretary-General of OACPS, and U Soe Lynn Han, Ambassador of Myanmar to Belgium. Both sides exchanged views on potential collaborations between Myanmar and OACPS that would bring mutual benefits and could be expanded further.
Established in 1975, OACPS comprises 79 countries, including the African, Caribbean, and Pacific States. Its Secretary-General office is located in Brussels. The organization is dedicated to the sustainable development of its member states and aims to strengthen ties with Pacific nations in international trade. — ASH/ TMT
