MSME exhibition to be held in Nay Pyi Taw on 1-5 May

The MSME exhibition is projected to be held in Dekkhinathiri Township in within Nay Pyi Taw Council Area from 1 to 5 May, according to Vice-Chair of Union Territory MSME Entrepreneurs Association U Aung Ko Htet.

The five-day event will be held in honour of the May Day which falls on 1 May 2024. Products of the MSMEs from eight townships in Union Territory will be involved in the event.

U Aung Ko Htet said, “The MSME exhibition will be held in Dekkhinathiri Market in Lawe District of the Union Territory. In the event, products of the MSMEs and industrial zones from eight townships of Union Territory, departmental booths, and local foods will be displayed with 54 booths.”

The exhibition is aimed to promote production, trade, investment and economic development of the MSMEs; to have collaboration between the participants, to exchange views on product quality and innovation techniques, and to penetrate into the international market through regional trade promotion by strengthening the coordination among the government, private sectors and MSME industry. – ASH/TMT
