MoI Union Minister meets trainees of People’s Military Servants Training 1/2024 in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn warmly greets trainees of the People’s Military Servants Training 1/2024 yesterday.

Member of the Central Body on Summoning People’s Military Servants Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn met trainees of People’s Military Servants Training 1/2024 at No 2 Advanced Training Depot in Nay Pyi Taw, together with Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Saw Than Hlaing, relevant officials and artistes, yesterday.
Speaking at the event, the Union minister highlighted the tour to the depot to comfort and honour those joining the military training, including his life experience as a Tatmadaw member, duties assigned by Tatmadaw and the government to date.
He added that every citizen should consider that they bear responsibility for the defence of their country as an inborn duty.
He then explained the benefits of being a people’s military servant and their dignity after serving the duties for two years.
The Nay Pyi Taw Council chairman then said they will also be provided with the needed utensils and cash.
Moreover, the Nay Pyi Taw Command Commander said that the trainees should obey the order and show loyalty to the country, people and the unit. They also should follow the law, rules and regulations.
Union Information Minister U Maung Maung Ohn also handed 22 MRTV DTH receivers and 111 DVB-T2 Set Top Boxes to the relevant officials for the villages in Nay Pyi Taw Council, Nay Pyi Taw Command and 11 companies of the training school.
The Nay Pyi Taw Council chairman then presented necessary utensils and cash assistance for members of people’s military service to an official.
The Union minister and party gave two MRTV DTH receivers and 30 MRTV DVB-T2 Set Top Boxes for 1/2024 trainees through lottery.
