EEC Minister in Charge of Integration and Macroeconomics Mr Sergey Glazyev calls on Union Minister Dr Kan Zaw yesterday.

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw received the delegation led by Mr Sergey Glaziev, Member of the Board – Minister in Charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) at Office No 1, Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday.
Both sides cordially discussed and exchanged their views on implementing the Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) signed by the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and promoting economic cooperation in the prioritized areas.
The Memorandum of Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Eurasian Economic Commission was signed on 15 June 2023. The priority cooperation areas of the MOC are regional economic integration, customs regulations, technical regulations, application of sanitary, veterinary-sanitary, quarantine, and phytosanitary measures, financial markets, transport, energy, agro-industrial complex, competition policy and antimonopoly regulation, industrial sector, consumer rights, informatization, information and communication technologies, digital transformation of the economy and other areas of mutual interests to promote the economic cooperation. — MIFER
