Grade 9 outstanding students welcomed in Bagan

Grade 9 outstanding students arrive at Outstanding Students Recreation Centre in Bagan on 27 April.

Grade 9 outstanding students who arrived at Bagan on 27 April were welcomed by Deputy Minister for Education Dr Zaw Myint, Director-General of the Teacher Education Department, Daw Hnin Kyi, Deputy Director-General of the Ethnic Language Department, U Aung Thu Thu, as well as officials, chairpersons of district and township administration bodies, district and township education officers, teachers, students, and residents.
With the aim of nurturing students as role models, the Outstanding Student Project is being implemented. In the 2023-2024 academic year, a total of 140 outstanding students in Grade 9, 140 outstanding students in Grade 10, 137 outstanding students in Grade 11, and 137 outstanding students in Grade 12 were produced, resulting in a total of 554 outstanding students.
The outstanding students arriving at Nay Pyi Taw, along with respective administrators of the Outstanding Students Recreation Centre and supervising teachers, began their study trips to Bagan, Inlay, Taunggyi, and Ngwehsaung centres.
Grade 9 outstanding students of the 2023-2024 academic year and supervising teachers arrived at Bagan, led by Deputy Director-General U Kyaw Moe Tun, the Mandalay Region education officer, who is the head of the Bagan Outstanding Students Recreation Centre. — MNA/TKO
