Thai Ambassador Mr Mongkol Visitstump calls on Deputy Prime Minister Union Foreign Affairs Minister U Than Swe yesterday.

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Than Swe received Mr Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the courtesy call, both sides cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing long-standing cordial relations and bilateral partnership. Also, they discussed the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation, especially in the areas of tourism, education, culture, trade, investment, and people-to-people connectivity between the two countries, as well as closer collaboration at both regional and multilateral arenas on the basis of mutual understanding and support. — MNA
